Our play space offers climbing structures, a stage for imaginative play, reading and drawing areas, play tables with Lego, trains, a kid-size housekeeping area and a place for crawlers to crawl, adults can relax a bit at our espresso bar while the kids enjoy the open and varied spaces at GreenLight. Grab an order of toast with jam or brie or a homemade fruit smoothie for you or your child and everyone will be well fed and well entertained!

Who, What, Where?

Who: GreenLight Studio, LLC was founded by moms with a shared vision of a much needed clean, creative indoor play space.  Our core team is a diverse mix of early childhood specialist, a creative arts teacher and therapist, and a photographer; most importantly, we are all parents.

What: The vision is of a well designed indoor play space for kids, birth to 6, that is an equally enjoyable space for their caregivers.   Thus the concept of a play space and revive café is born!  The café will offer smoothies and healthy snacks for the kids while also catering to the adults with a full coffee bar.  The approach is to be open and let children be free to explore their environment while also creating a community space for storytellers, dance, baby yoga, language classes and for adults to simply gather while their children play nearby.

Where: A well received concept in other cities across the country, GreenLight Studio is designed for the specific needs of Maine families.  From the long Maine winter “cabin fever” months and through all seasons, the staff of GreenLight is excited to bring this concept to Portland and welcomes your involvement in growing with us.

We believe that in a non-conforming environment that fosters creativity and spontaneity, children’s movement, language and social skills explode.  We also believe that for parents and caregivers, the opportunity to relax and recharge while children play together is time very well spent.
